2017 PPIC Partner introduction - Arkema China
Arkema China, a French material company focusing on new application and innovation, will utilize its global resource to support 2017 PPIC (Photovoltaic Polymer International Conference).
Organized by CPVS, SHSES and China PV Top-runner Forum, 2017 PPIC will be held in April 15-17th in Shanghai. As a global material solution provider, Arkema cares the environmental issue and energy consumption.
"The global demand for energy should double by 2050. Given the optimized use of fossil fuels and the necessity to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, resorting to renewable energies has now become inescapable", said by Jiayue Sun, Kyner polymer sales and development supervisor of Arkema Great China, "The Arkema group has made this issue one of its major fields of innovation and is involved in growing new markets, both in terms of energy production and energy storage. At present, one out of every three solar panels contains a product made by the Group".
"Used in the manufacturing of solar panels, these materials contribute to increasing their performance, while also reducing their cost, PVDF Kynar® Film fluorinated polymers, extruded as ultra-fine and resistant multilayer films, protect the backside of the panels against humidity and solar aging. As a result, the lifetime of panels is extended beyond 20 years.", Jiayue Added.
Arkema has cooperated with China PV Top-runner Forum for several years. In the beginning, Arkema just attended the forum, and sooner later, Arkema decided to support the forum and gave the technical speech in the forum, to share their PV design concept and solution with China PV players. For 2017PPIC, Arkema feels even more necessary to support as there will be more global module maker.
