Solar cell encapsulant material is a booming business. As key encapsulant, EVA film is used for cell protection and glass adhesion. Once it got yellowing, crack or hydrolysis, the cell will fail.
In addition to functional protection, EVA also plays more and more important role in the module like PID prevention, snail trail reduction, more transparent but still UV resistant, suitable for glass-glass module development, etc. People is also looking for alternative materials, however, EVA is still the main encapsulant in PV module assembly.
In the recent years, some leading EVA supplier has done lots of research work with the institute. Guangzhou Lushan also spent lots of efforts on EVA improvement with SUN YAT-SEN UNIVERSITY and Guangzhou Energy research institute of CAS. The main achievements focus on EVA aging resistence, light transmission rate.
The EVA film from Lushan has four applications:

All above EVA film has been certified by TUV, UL, VDE, CQC and widely used by module maker like Trina solar, Znshinesolar, CECEP. Per statistics data, Lushan has applied 52 solar film related patent, 1 PCT international patent.
From April 15th-17th, 2017 PV polymer international conference (PPIC) will be held in Shanghai China. The hosters include:
